Cheap Pound drew the Russians in the UK

And in 2009 the Russians, experiencing a wave of major crisis, generally traveled little. 48,000 Russian tourists, or 35%, chosen in 2009 for the UK leisure and tourism. 25% (35,000 people) make a business trip. 8% (11,000 people) came to study. 60% of Russian tourists must visit London, 31% are in other parts of England. 11% of the tourists get to Scotland, and only 4% of Russians who visited the UK, came to Wales. In 2011-2012 experts predict overall growth in tourist flow into the country. This is facilitated by three factors: the favorable exchange rate British currency, a stable interest to area attractions, as well as increased attention because of the Olympic Games. By some estimates, the total income from tourism in the next few years could grow in the UK for more than 60%.
