Traveling to Jordan

Jordan (Al - Urdun), also known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is an Arab state in the Middle East, bordering Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Jordan also owns a small part of the Red Sea (Gulf of Aqaba). On the territory of more than 90 thousand square kilometers is home to about 6 million people, most of whom (98%) are Arabs. The rest of the population is Circassians, Armenians, Turks and Kurds. In addition, each year in Jordan, comes nearly a million Palestinian refugees. Official language Arabic, but English is also widely used. Islam (especially its Sunni branch) practice 92% of the population, while Christianity is about 6%. In the north - eastern part of the country extends the stony Syrian desert, which occupies about 80% of the country.
