Cuisine of Crete

To look Cretan cuisine seems naive. It flavoursome tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, olives, bread, fish, seafood, meat and lamb or goat cheese. Dishes flavored with herbs, garlic, onion, olives, and wine vinegar. However, the main advantage of course - not in their diversity, and freshness of products and traditional recipes, which is passed down from generation to generation in family restaurants.
