Last month I went for between Bali and Jakarta: regularity and slowness of the island of the gods were replaced by metropolitan vibration Big Durian, known as Jakarta. If you wanted a "city" life (the island's inhabitants know that feeling), if you missed the endless traffic jams, or if you need to buy appliances and electronics (it is believed that the choice and value for money - the quality of such products is even better than in Singapore) then a trip to Jakarta - is probably what you need.
