The Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels has recently opened an exhibition "From Delacroix to Kandinsky's" dedicated to oriental motifs in European art of the XVIII-XX centuries. The exposition covers the period from 1798 to 1914 and includes works by masters such as Eugene Delacroix, Jean-Leon Gerome, Pierre Lecomte du Newey, Osman Hamdi Bey, Auguste Renoir, and Wassily Kandinsky. The exhibition consists of several thematic sections that address various aspects of life. Here you can see exotic landscapes, portraits and genre scenes, writes Herald. Gathered at an exhibition of work were provided by the largest museums in Europe, USA and Middle East. The exhibition runs until January 9.
