Permanent display at the National Museum in Warsaw closed

From Monday until further orders of the administration closed seven permanent exhibition halls of the National Museum in Warsaw. The reason for closing was the financial condition of the gallery. Closed to visitors gallery of painting in Northern Europe and the hall Matejko, galleries, antique art, Faras, medieval art, the Polish and European painting. Continues to work temporary exhibition "Chopin - ikonosfera Romanticism, which will be open until November 14. In addition, no changes to service groups. A new mode of operation of the museum: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday - from 12.00 to 18.00, Friday - from 12.00 to 20.00, Monday - closed. On Fridays, admission is free. In connection with the closing of galleries reduced price tickets for temporary exhibitions - now a regular ticket cost 12 zlotys (€ 3), and grace - 7 zloty (1.78 euros), according to the museum site.
