In Paris, Christmas markets begin to work

Along with the beginning of the most popular autumn holiday - meeting Beaujolais Nouveau - Paris is preparing for the main holiday of the winter - Christmas. The other day in the French capital will begin to work the traditional Christmas markets, which will create a special atmosphere in the city. So, 19 November Fair opens in city's main avenue - the Champs-Elysees. It will operate daily from Sunday to Thursday from 12.00 to 23.00, Fridays and Saturdays - from 12.00 to 0.00. Across the avenue from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde accommodate attractions for children and 160 stalls where you can buy souvenirs and enjoy traditional Christmas dishes. The fair will be open until January 3. From 24 November to 27 December 350 fair stalls will be located on the esplanade of La Defense. It offers numerous gifts, the national dish - foie gras, a French alpine cheeses and chocolate, churros, crepes and mulled wine. New this season will be a shop where you will sell souvenirs, dedicated to the film "Arthur and the Invisibles." The fair will be open daily from 11.00 to 20.30 on Saturdays - from 10.00 to 21.00. November 26, it closed at 22.00 and December 24 - at 18.00. From 9 to 29 December Christmas Fair will also take place in front of the Eiffel Tower - on the esplanade of the Trocadero (Trocadero). It will be open from 11.00 to 20.00. Visitors will have to wait 120 stalls with souvenirs and Christmas ornaments and regional gourmet products, entertaining program with participation of folklore groups and rink entrance fee which is 5 euros. Christmas Fair will be held also on the Boulevard Montparnasse (December 10 - January 2), in Saint-Germain-des-Pres (3 December - 2 January), at Saint-Sulpice (Saint Suplice, 11-24 December) and the square of the Nation ( Place de la Nation, 1-24 December), wrote Tout-paris.org.
