In coming years, ten-day New Year holidays are not cut

Tourists planning to spend New Year's weekend trips, it should be noted that on December 31, falling this year on Friday will be a working day. But then the holiday will last for the first ten days of 2011. This was stated by the head of Labor Agency Yuri Hertz. According to him, over the next three years will be a one-day shift in the schedule of the holidays. So, at the turn of 2011 and 2012, Russians will have a rest from December 31 to January 9, and in 2012, 2013 - from 30 December to 8 January, reports RIA Novosti. In addition, the National Unity Day, November 4, 2010, falls on Thursday. Therefore, in accordance with the decision of the Government, Friday, Nov. 5, gets a day off by moving the weekend of Saturday, November 13. Thus, at the beginning of the last of the autumn months the Russians are waiting for four-day vacation, and then six-day working week. In 2011, March 8, International Women's Day falls on a Tuesday, so Saturday, March 5, will be the working day, and Monday, March 7 - weekends. All other holidays, according to Yu Herzen, will be celebrated "on the calendar." In particular, 23 February - Wednesday, that does not involve any transfers. The next holiday, May 1 falls on a Sunday, so the output is transferred to Monday - May 2 (April 30, May 1 and 2 are days of rest). May 9 - Monday, that does not require transfers (output - 7, 8 and 9 May). June 12 (Russia Day) falls on a Sunday. Output is transferred to Monday, and holidays will also last for three days (11, 12 and 13 June). National Unity Day in 2011 falls on Friday, which also does not require transfers. Output will be 4, 5 and 6 November.
