Vatican Museums open up again in the evening hours

Like last year, the leadership of the Vatican Museums has decided to extend the time of inspection exhibition in September and October. Within two months, every Friday to visit museums will be not only in the daytime, but in the evening - from 19.00 to 23.00. For the first time the practice of late closure of museums has been applied in July 2009, and then - in the autumn of that year. Evening tours of the Vatican Museums have become popular both among the inhabitants of Rome, and among tourists. To take advantage of the proposal, tourists must pre-book tickets for the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel through the Internet. The choice offered both group and individual guided tours. Evening visits will be possible in the period from September 3 to October 29. Visitors will be able to go to museums to 21.30, and leave the room needed no later than 30 minutes before closing.
