First Jumeirah resort opens in the Maldives

International hotel group Jumeirah has announced the opening in early 2011, its first resort hotel in the Maldives - Jumeirah Dhevanafushi. Jumeirah Dhevanafushi will be a complex of luxury villas, surrounded by coral reefs on the atoll of Gaafu-Alif (Gaafu Alifu Atoll) in the southern Maldives. The complex will include 22 islands and 16 ocean villas, separated from the island's reef stretching for kilometers. The area of ??the villas ranges from 200 to 600 square meters. There will be a personal butler service 24 hours, three gourmet restaurants, a variety of spa-procedures in the villas or in the rooms of Talise Spa, built over the water with a transparent floor, according to a press release. In March 2011 hotel group plans to open a second resort in the Maldives - Jumeirah Vittaveli.
