Wine Festival will be held in Prague in mid-September

The Slavonic Island in Prague from 17 to 19 September will be a wine festival. Guests will be invited to taste hundreds of wines produced in the Czech Republic and abroad. The festival will bring together winemakers from the best wine regions of Moravia and Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Hungary and France. In addition to tastings, visitors waiting for a rich cultural program that includes performances by folklore ensembles, competitions and lectures sommelier. The festival is intended to remind the public that the winemaking tradition began in the Czech capital a century ago, when Emperor Charles IV founded the Prague first vineyards.
