Tourists traveling through the desert of Wadi Rum for a fee can be accommodated in a Bedouin tent and join the traditional meal. Typically, the main dish is mensaf, lamb, roasted on a spit and poured sauce roots. It is served with rice, yogurt, fat and nuts. Tourists are not accustomed to Bedouin delicacies, this meal may seem a little shocking, since the middle of a huge dish of lamb's head is placed. Everyone eats with his right hand (left hand is considered unclean). Guests of honor as a symbol of special respect eyes get lamb, and the rest have to settle for his tongue. Drink is very sweet Bedouin tea, served in small glasses, often with the addition of mint. Coffee, which also enjoys great popularity here, melyat and cook for guests, and then drink with lots of cardamom from small cups.
