Traveling to Jordan

Vast, sun-scorched Syrian desert stretches to the east of Amman towards Iraq and Saudi Arabia. It may seem that its barren landscapes do not involve life. However, as shown by archaeological excavations, some 500 thousand years ago people lived here. They left behind a flint implements. But not these remains astound most. Much more striking desert palaces built by the rulers of the Umayyad dynasty in VII-VIII centuries. They can enjoy traveling from Amman to the east to Al - Azraq and back.
