Traveling in Italy

Nearly eight centuries ago, the eastern part of the Valley of the German shepherds settled peoples Walzer, who came from a neighboring valley Walzer (Walser), which they owe their name. Walzer live mainly in the towns of Gressoney-Saint-Jean (Gressoney-Saint-Jean) and Gressoney La Trinite (Gressoney-La-Trinite). Walzer diligently keep their traditions. They build "shtadel» (Stadel) - wooden houses on stone discs, based on short columns in the form of a mushroom. This is done to avoid visits to wildlife.
