From August 31 the cost of tickets on trains of the Russian railways decreased by 16,7%. Reduction made in the annual schedule of flexible tariff regulation and is a sort of compensation for the high summer prices. Price change applies to all types of carriages, but only on domestic routes. The new prices will be valid until September 30, after which they will decrease by 10%. It should be borne in mind that in some trains, mostly Moscow direction, an additional discount and premium - depending on day of travel, a particular place in the car and the period of the ticket purchase.
