The new natural sites included in UNESCO's World Heritage List

At the last from July 25 to August 3 regular session of UNESCO World Heritage Committee in the current World Heritage List was introduced five new natural sites. As reported on the UNESCO website, the list includes landscapes Dansya (Danxia) in China, peaks, craters and shafts Reunion Island (Reunion Island, French overseas department), belonging to Republic of Kiribati, Phoenix Islands (Phoenix Islands, Kiribati), mountainous region in central Sri Lanka and the Russian Putoransky State Nature Reserve, located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. As of August 2010 in the List of World Heritage - 911 sites, of which 704 are cultural, 180 - natural and 27 - mixed.
