These images are studying in Tashtypskogo region of Khakassia since the XIX century. According to scientists, Khakass petroglyphs are divided into two great periods. Earlier images belong to the Okunev culture (South Siberian archaeological culture of the nomadic pastoralists of the Bronze Age, II millennium BC. Er.). Late images were applied to the middle of XVII century to early XX century. Location Khakass petroglyphs always visited by tourists, but now the museum staff will conduct tours here.
