The study involved nine thousand visitors who visited the country in the summer and chose the spa, cultural and rural tourism. As follows from the results of the survey, foreign tourists find attractive for recreation Bulgaria country, and service quality - satisfactory. Among the shortcomings of the respondents identified poor infrastructure and lack of information materials. People who are interested in cultural tourism, celebrate the rich heritage of the country and its ancient cities, supporters of the spa-tourism attracted by affordable prices at the resorts, and lovers of rural tourism point picturesque nature. Bulgaria's main competitors, as shown by results of the study are Greece, Turkey and Romania. Among the respondents, the majority of men prefer cultural tourism and nature walks, while women and older people opt for spa-resorts. The most favorable impression of Bulgaria made a tourist from Romania, Ukraine, Serbia and the Czech Republic, and guests from Sweden, Britain, Germany, Turkey and Greece were satisfied with recreation, but noted a number of drawbacks.
